Ray Barrufforay.barruffo@coverdale.comConsultant - Coverdale UK Worked extensively with Coverdale as a client from 1986 to 1992 and joined as an Associate in 2007 Career in brief Ray Barruffo joined Coverdale UK after taking early retirement in 2006 following a career of more than thirty-five years in the oil industry. He built his career from a very junior level to executive responsibility in the field of contracting, procurement and supply chain management as well as organisation development. He worked successfully in multiple cultures, taking on senior roles in Europe, South-East Asia and the Middle East before his final assignment as a Chief Procurement Officer for Latin America, based in Buenos Aires. His OD work covered refinery turnarounds, company mergers, strategy development and process redesign requiring short term assignments in The Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Republic of Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Oman, South Africa, Nigeria, USA, Singapore and Australia In his work as a consultant and trainer he focuses on:

I am particularly motivated when I see people from very junior positions recognising their own leadership potential. In my own time I enjoy travelling and discovering new places with my wife, staying close to my grown up children, cooking and gardening and, as a Mancunian by birth, following the Reds!" |
