Career in brief
Aubrey combines seven years plus experience as a senior consultant and associate working globally for European-based multinationals on business strategy generation and implementation projects.

During each phase Aubrey works closely with senior management and constructively challenges them [Business Area and Business Unit]. Cross-cultural awareness and knowledge is high as consultancy projects are frequently run from client locations and project locations have included Milan, Italy; Zurich, Switzerland; Gothenburg, Sweden; Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Oslo, Norway.

Prior to Aubrey’s consultancy role, he worked as Business Development Director for guidephone and in marketing & public relations for the Royal College of Art and Christie’s Fine Art Auctioneers. Aubrey also currently serves on the board of an unlisted property company and manages a farm in Herefordshire, UK.

In his work as a consultant and trainer he focuses on:
  • Working closely with leadership teams to generate strategic solutions and pragmatic implementation. Aubrey aims to co-create the solution together with the clients – so enabling the consultant to focus on the strategy generation and implementation process, and the client to input their business and industry knowledge. This co-creation is advanced through one-to-one discussions with business leaders, facilitated workshops, coaching sessions, project teams, customer visits and training programmes. This approach is rooted in the belief client commitment to implementation is enhanced if the client organisation participates in the analysis, strategy formulation and roll out phases of a strategy project.

Aubrey says:
"Change happens through people, not merely through writing a report or installing a consultant at the end of the management corridor. I relish the challenge of assisting senior leaders and their management address and solve strategic challenges. Working along-side very capable and experienced individuals to co-create the right solutions and see them through to implementation in the client organisation is a rewarding and at times exhilarating task"
